Dayton Children's is seeking a Part-Time Night PCA for the Specialty Pediatrics 3W unit at the Main Campus. The role supports the nurse, assesses patients' needs with attention to developmental levels, and contributes to a safe, family-centered environment.

You will measure vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, help with transportation, and participate in cross-training for clinical and clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• Education: HSD/GED is required.
• PCA training or PCA experience or actively enrolled in a health care related education program is required.
• 1-2 years STNA experience in hospital setting is preferred.
• CPR is preferred at hire, but must be obtained within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsabilités

• Assist the nurse in completion of patient care activities, considering the patient’s developmental levels.
• Measure and record vital signs, intake and output.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide safe transportation and environment for patients.
• Cross trained to support the clinical and clerical sides of the business.
