Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist direct patient care by providing basic physical care under the RN.
• Help patients with daily living activities and bedmaking as needed.
• Safely transport patients and specimens within the facility.
• Perform routine tests and basic phlebotomy in approved departments.
• Record vital signs and intake/output per policy.
• Support examinations and rehabilitation activities and dressings.
• Communicate with RN about nutrition and condition changes.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment to prevent infections.
