Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support or HeartSaver First Aid within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care by providing basic physical care under supervision.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and bed making.
• Safely transport patients and escort for tests, procedures, or discharge.
• Transport specimens and items throughout the facility.
• Perform routine phlebotomy services as assigned.
• Record vital signs and basic measurements per policy.
• Provide respiratory support and assist with oxygen administration.
• Report patient concerns to a registered nurse promptly.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures.
• Support basic rehab activities and ambulation.
