Inova Health - Pediatric Cardiology is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm at our Fairfax-area location, with travel to VA satellite sites possible.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN or ADN; BSN to be completed within 5 years of start date.
• Licensure: RN licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia.
• Experience: 0 years of RN clinical experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential outpatient duties: full intakes, med reconciliation, patient education and INR management.
• Provides safe, holistic care in a physician practice or outpatient setting.
• Uses data and knowledge to improve care and outcomes and serves as resource and mentor.
• Ensures efficient care delivery and prioritizes actions with the team; supports productivity.
• Makes independent clinical decisions based on education and experience.
