Job summary

Advocate Health in Greensboro, NC seeks an experienced Echocardiography Technologist to perform pediatric echocardiograms in inpatient and outpatient settings using multiple systems. You will tailor exams to patient age, diagnose cardiac conditions, and support physician interpretation.

Requirements include advanced training in Sonography, ARDMS RDCS_AE or CCI RCS within 12 months, pediatric registry within 12 months, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Advanced training in Sonography from an accredited program.
• RDCS_AE or RCS credential within 12 months of hire.
• Must obtain pediatric registry status within 12 months.
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Select appropriate equipment and tailor exams to patient diagnosis and age.
• Identify cardiac defects and differentiate artifacts from true findings.
• Perform emergency exams in multiple departments as needed.
• Adhere to standard protocols and document results correctly.
