UCSF Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Pediatric Heart Center. The nurse will provide safe, therapeutic care using the nursing process, support admissions/discharges, and coordinate care across pediatric and adult settings.

Responsibilities include post-procedure sedation care, transport, and collaboration with anesthesiologists, with flexibility to work at UCSF locations. BLS/PALS and CA RN license required; 5 years pediatric RN experience preferred.

Formación

• Current RN license in California.
• BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 5 years of pediatric RN experience.
• Experience in Pre-Op/Recovery areas and care coordination.
• Ability to orient to all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care.
• Functions as a member of the Pediatric Heart Center by carrying out established nursing procedures and related duties.
• Assists with assessment of admission and discharge needs and care coordination across pediatric and adult settings.
