Job summary

UCSF Health, AG is seeking an experienced pediatric inpatient RN to deliver safe and therapeutic care using the nursing process. You will function within interdisciplinary teams, performing established procedures and supporting other nurses in managing complex patient care.

The role requires 3+ years of pediatric medical-surgical experience, with preference for BSN and California RN licensure, CPR, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years inpatient RN experience with pediatric medical-surgical patients, including acute and chronic respiratory, GI disorders, epilepsy, rehab, immunology, eating disorders; pediatric patients with underlying behavioral/psychiatric health conditions.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care.
• Functions as a member of interdisciplinary and nursing teams and carries out established nursing procedures.
• Assists with management of patient care administered by other nursing team members.
