Job summary

UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland is seeking a pediatric PACU RN to join a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity setting. The role emphasizes safe, therapeutic nursing care, collaboration with physicians and other staff, and patient-focused service.

Qualifications include CA RN licensure, 2+ years in pediatric high-acuity settings (PICU/NICU/ED), CPR and PALS certifications, and ASPAN preferred. On-call commitment may apply.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• Two years of pediatric high-acuity RN experience (PICU/NICU/ED).
• BSN is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be organized and able to multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic patient care in a pediatric PACU setting.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, supporting patients, families, and colleagues.
• Assist with management of patient care by other nursing team members and participate in on-call duties as required.
