Job summary

University of California, San Francisco seeks a pediatric RN to provide safe, therapeutic care using the nursing process in a fast-paced setting. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team and support care across multiple UCSF Medical Center locations.

The role requires at least one year of pediatric RN experience, EMR proficiency, and phlebotomy skills with central lines/portocaths handling. California RN licensure and CPR/BLS are mandatory, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year full-time RN experience in pediatric inpatient setting.
• Recent RN experience in pediatric outpatient specialty care coordination.
• Recent pediatric inpatient/outpatient experience.
• Knowledge essential to perform duties; includes flexibility to work at multiple UCSF sites.
• Experience with electronic medical record documentation.
• Phlebotomy experience required; portocaths and central lines handling.
• CA RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification.

• This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Required License/Certifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse as defined by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification
