Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesia.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas (or ability to obtain).
• Demonstrated clinical teaching, evaluation, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence/motivate others at all professional and administrative levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to pediatric patients pre-, during, and post cardiac surgery.
• Develop and implement care protocols for pediatric cardiac anesthesia.
• Oversee quality registries and ongoing performance improvement initiatives.
• Participate in education, training, and outreach for the Center.
