Job summary

ZarminaliPediatrics is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Behavioral Mental Health Therapist to join our Naperville, Illinois team. You will advance pediatric behavioral health within our integrative primary care model, working with pediatricians and families to provide coordinated, child-centered care.

The role emphasizes assessment, treatment planning, family engagement, documentation, and collaboration within an integrated care team to support each child's healthy development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice as an LCPC, LCSW or LMFT in IL.
• 2–3 years of post-licensure pediatric therapy or related experience.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based integrated care setting.
• Experience treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, behavioral challenges, trauma, and adjustment concerns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Support emotional growth and resilience by monitoring milestones and implementing evidence-based interventions.
• Engage families to reinforce understanding of conditions and promote caregiver involvement.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with regulatory standards.

POSITION OVERVIEW

ZarminaliPediatrics is seeking compassionate and dedicatedPediatric Behavioral Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Naperville, Illinois. You will play a vital role in advancing pediatric behavioral health within our integrative primary care model—working hand in hand with pediatricians and families to provide compassionate, coordinated care that supports each child’s path to a healthy future.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Clinical Assessment & Care: Delivering expectational behavioral health care through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning tailored to each child’s needs, while being responsive to family dynamics.
• Growth & Emotional Wellbeing: Supporting children’s emotional growth and resilience by monitoring behavioral and developmental milestones, identifying early signs of concern, and implementing evidence-based interventions that promote overall wellbeing.
• Family Engagement & Education: Collaborating with families to reinforce understanding of behavioral health conditions, align care strategies, and promote effective caregiver engagement in the child’s treatment and development.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in alignment with ethical, regulatory, and organizational standards to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Collaboration: Working as part of an integrated primary care team to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care that integrates behavioral health for comprehensive patient wellbeing.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited program
• Current and unrestricted license to practice as an LCPC, LCSW or LMFT in IL.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of post-licensure experience providing therapy, assessment, or behavioral health services in a pediatric, family, or integrated care setting
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment that values integration between behavioral and physical health
• Proven ability to assess and treat a range of pediatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral challenges, trauma, and adjustment concerns

Zarminali Pediatrics is a national organization, and compensation isdeterminedusing market-informed data, including industry benchmarks. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location, local market conditions, state-specific factors, and individual qualifications, including years of experience, education, and scope of responsibility. Actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on job-related factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible foradditionalproductivityor performance-based bonus incentives.
