Children's Nebraska seeks a Behavioral Health Float Pool RN to provide specialized psychiatric support across the Behavioral Health and Wellness Center. The role demands flexibility to transition between patient care areas, support staffing needs, and uphold high standards of care for pediatric patients.

Open to new grads or experienced nurses, with emphasis on assessment, care planning, documentation in EPIC, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient and staff safety

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing (RN).
• Nebraska RN license required or eligible to obtain.
• 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Pediatric patient experience preferred.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct age-appropriate patient/family assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Coordinate with Behavioral Health Team and ensure safety.
• Document in EPIC; monitor and respond to behavioral emergencies.
• Support continuous high-quality care across units.
