Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Graduate from an accredited RN program.
• Current Alabama RN license in good standing.
• Diploma or Associate degree in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to psychiatric patients (children and adolescents) per the nursing process.
• Document care, administer medications, and lead nursing groups.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment; assist with admissions/discharges; use restraints when necessary.
