Job summary

Laurel Heights Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for day shifts (7am–7pm) to provide comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral care for youth. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, assess clinical needs, plan and implement nursing care, and support families with discharge planning.

The role emphasizes patient safety, education, and adherence to standards. Candidates should hold a Georgia RN license and CPR/BLS certification, with experience in psychiatric care preferred.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Georgia or eligibility to receive/renew.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Experience in psychiatric/behavioral care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care based on patient needs and standards of practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate a care plan.
• Ensure safe patient transitions and continuity of care.
• Coordinate and deliver individualized patient education and discharge planning.
• Complete clinical and quality documentation per standards.
• Delegate and prioritize tasks to maintain high-quality care and safety.
