Job summary

Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital seeks an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team providing behavioral health care for children and teens. The ADON works with the DON to deliver 24/7 inpatient and partial hospital program leadership and coverage, promoting patient care aligned with our mission and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with BSN required.
• MSN highly preferred for leadership track.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Illinois; BLS and CPI certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise nursing service plan aligned with organizational needs.
• Oversee all aspects of the nursing department and staff performance.
• Collaborate on inpatient staffing plans and unit coverage for safe care.
• Communicate with staff and patients to assure quality nursing service.
