Job summary

Connecticut Children's is seeking a professional nurse to provide direct patient care across the episode of service delivery in pediatrics and behavioral health. You will follow standards of practice, CT Children's policies, TJC, and state/federal regulations, reporting to the Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

• ASN required upon hire; BSN preferred and must be obtained within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum two years’ clinical experience in pediatrics and/or behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional nursing care for defined patient populations per unit policies.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise using the nursing process to ensure safe patient care.
• Partner with patients and families to evaluate outcomes and provide education.
