Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s seeks a Behavioral Health Consultant (BCBA preferred) to lead advanced behavioral assessments and intervention planning for children and adolescents in inpatient and residential settings.

You will partner with psychologists, nurses, social workers, and families to design trauma-informed strategies that improve safety, engagement, and outcomes, while mentoring staff and advancing evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Behavioral Science, Psychology, Education, or related field OR BCBA certification.
• Minimum of two years of experience in behavior analysis or related clinical setting.
• Preferred BCBA certification and experience conducting FBAs and developing behavior intervention plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for patients with complex needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Analyze behavioral data and make treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify effective strategies and modify plans.
