Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Completion of a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, with pediatric subspecialty eligibility.
• Eligibility for active Missouri medical licensure and DEA registration.
• BLS and PALS certification.
• Eligibility for hospital credentialing and clinical privileges.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized pediatric anesthetic care plans.
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
• Monitor vitals and anesthetic depth throughout induction, maintenance, and emergence.
• Use pediatric airway strategies and advanced airway management techniques.
• Collaborate with surgeons, pediatricians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Provide postoperative pain management and regional anesthesia as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality initiatives.
