Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks an Pediatric Anesthesiologist/Pain to provide direct patient care and supervise residents and fellows within the Anesthesiology Physicians department. The role includes teaching across subspecialties such as cardiovascular, obstetric, and pediatric anesthesiology, with involvement in critical care and pain management responsibilities.

The candidate should hold an Oklahoma medical license or be eligible, be BC/BE in Anesthesiology, and be eligible for OU College

Qualifications

• Must have Oklahoma medical license or be eligible to obtain one.
• BC/BE in Anesthesiology with eligibility for Oklahoma license.
• Eligible for faculty appointments through OU College of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and supervise teaching of residents and fellows.
• Contribute to subspecialties including cardiovascular, obstetric, pediatric anesthesiology, critical care, pain management, and research.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care as well as teaching and supervision of residents and fellows, medical students, and other trainees.
• Position in the subspecialties of cardiovascular, obstetric, and pediatric anesthesiology, critical care medicine, pain management, and goal-oriented research occasionally occur.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have or be able to obtain a Oklahoma medical license prior to employment and be BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• Candidates are eligible for faculty appointments through the OU College of Medicine - appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience.
• Continued employment will be contingent upon successfully obtaining Board Certification in the eligibility timeframe of your specialty.
• Consideration for appointment in these roles would be given to candidates with demonstrated training and/or experience in the field.
