Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma invites applications for a Pediatric Anesthesiologist in the Anesthesiology Department. The role includes direct patient care, teaching and supervision of residents and fellows, medical students, and other trainees, with opportunities in cardiovascular, obstetric, and pediatric subspecialties.

Candidates must hold or be eligible for an Oklahoma medical license, be BC/BE in Anesthesiology, and pursue Board Certification.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have or be able to obtain a Oklahoma medical license prior to employment and be BC/BE in Anesthesiology.
• Continued employment will be contingent upon successfully obtaining Board Certification in the eligibility timeframe of your specialty.
• Consideration for appointment in these roles would be given to candidates with demonstrated training and/or experience in the field.

Job Description

Responsibilities: Direct patient care as well as teaching and supervision of residents and fellows, medical students, and other trainees. Position in the subspecialties of cardiovascular, obstetric, and pediatric anesthesiology, critical care medicine, pain management, and goal-oriented research occasionally occur.

Qualifications

Applicants must have or be able to obtain a Oklahoma medical license prior to employment and be BC/BE in Anesthesiology Candidates are eligible for faculty appointments through the OU College of Medicine - appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience. Continued employment will be contingent upon successfully obtaining Board Certification in the eligibility timeframe of your specialty. Consideration for appointment in these roles would be given to candidates with demonstrated training and/or experience in the field.
