Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our Anesthesiology Physicians department. You will provide direct patient care for pediatric cases and participate in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, ensuring high standards of safety and outcomes.

Applicants must be BC/BE in Anesthesiology with eligibility for Oklahoma medical license, and may pursue faculty appointments through the OU College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma medical license or eligibility required.
• BC/BE in Anesthesiology required and Board Certification expected within eligibility timeframe.

Position Title: Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Responsibilities:

• Direct patient care as well as teaching and supervision of residents and fellows, medical students, and other trainees.
• Position in the subspecialties of cardiovascular, obstetric, and pediatric anesthesiology, critical care medicine, pain management, and goal-oriented research occasionally occur.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must have or be able to obtain a Oklahoma medical license prior to employment and be BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• Candidates are eligible for faculty appointments through the OU College of Medicine - appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience.
• Continued employment will be contingent upon successfully obtaining Board Certification in the eligibility timeframe of your specialty.
• Consideration for appointment in these roles would be given to candidates with demonstrated training and/or experience in the field.
