Job summary

Stony Brook University’s Renaissance School of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology, seeks a Physician/Pediatric Anesthesiologist to cover perioperative care and pre/post anesthesia consultations.

The selected candidate will participate in teaching medical students, residents, and CRNAs, and encouraged to engage in clinical or basic research within a collaborative academic environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree; board certified/eligible in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesia.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia (ACGME) completed or in progress; NY licensure eligible.
• Active involvement in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and CRNAs; research encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthetic care to patients undergoing surgery or procedures.
• Consult before and after anesthetic procedure.
• Involve in instruction and supervision of medical students, residents, and CRNAs.
