Job summary

Stony Brook University’s Renaissance School of Medicine seeks a Physician/Pediatric Anesthesiologist to provide anesthetic care for surgeries and procedures, with pre- and post-anesthesia consultations. You will actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and certified registered nurse anesthetists.

Active engagement in clinical and/or basic research is strongly encouraged. Tenure/non-tenure track, FLSA exempt, start date as soon as possible within Stony Brook Medicine on Long

Qualifications

MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
Board certified/eligible in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesia.
Completed, or currently in, an ACGME fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia.
Must hold or be eligible for NYState licensure as a Physician.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthetic care for patients undergoing surgery or procedures.
Conduct pre- and post-anesthetic consultations with patients and families.
Engage in instruction/supervision of medical students, residents and CRNAs.
Participate in clinical or basic research as encouraged by the department.
