Job summary

Nemours seeks an RN II for our outpatient pediatric specialty care clinic in Pensacola, FL. The RN II ambulatory/float provides and coordinates nursing care in partnership with the child, family and community resources that is individualized to meet the child and/or family's unique needs and situation.

The RN II considers individual, cultural, ethnic, and religious values and beliefs in planning and delivering evidence based care to individual pediatric patients while also managing disease

Qualifications

• BSN required or currently enrolled in BSN program with completion within 12 months of hire date
• Florida RN license or Compact license that includes Florida required

Responsibilities

• Care for patients within defined population.
• Apply nursing process to plan and evaluate care.
• Develop and manage division-specific program activities.
• Plan and implement goals with leadership.
• Evaluate program objectives and revise as needed.
• Plan and conduct staff meetings on current standards.
• Develop training and orientation programs.
• Compile records and program activity documentation.
• Document all aspects of nursing care delivery.
• Provide leadership and support to division nurses and physicians.
