Job summary

Nemours is seeking a Part-Time RN II for our outpatient pediatric specialty care clinic in Pensacola, FL. The RN II - Ambulatory/Float provides nursing care and coordinates with families and community resources to meet each child’s needs, considering cultural beliefs and family dynamics in planning care.

The role involves applying the nursing process, coordinating program activities, and supporting staff and physicians to ensure high-quality patient care in a pediatric ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• BSN required or currently enrolled in BSN program with required completion within 12 months of hire date
• Florida RN license or Compact license that includes Florida required

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care in partnership with the child, family and community resources tailored to each patient/family
• Apply nursing process and knowledge of growth, development, and family dynamics in pediatric care
• Develop and manage activities of division-specific programs or specialties
• Plan, develop, and implement goals and objectives with leadership
• Evaluate program objectives and implement necessary changes
• Plan and conduct staff meetings to ensure compliance with practices and standards
• Develop training and orientation programs for staff
• Compile and maintain records and documentation for program evaluation
• Document all aspects of nursing care delivery appropriately
• Provide leadership, staff education, and support to division nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals
