Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a full-time RN II – Ambulatory in Orlando to coordinate pediatric nursing care within the Allergy team. The role includes program development, staff education, and day-to-day management of an assigned specialty.

The RN II will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care, educate families, and promote continuity across services. Bachelor’s degree required; BSN preferred with timely completion; Florida RN license and BLS certification are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; BSN preferred or current enrollment with completion within 12 months of hire.
• Florida RN license or compact license that includes Florida.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates pediatric nursing care for an assigned patient population.
• Leads program development, staff education, and day-to-day program management.
• Develops and evaluates program goals with leadership and documents activities.
• Communicates changes to care plans to the team and supports continuity of care.
