Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an RN II for our Allergy Team to coordinate and deliver nursing care for pediatric patients. The RN II works with children, families, and community resources to tailor care to individual needs and fosters ongoing teaching and continuity of care.

The RN II is responsible for program development, daily operations, staff direction, training, scheduling, and policy alignment with leadership to achieve program objectives.

Qualifications

• BSN required or currently enrolled in BSN with completion within 12 months of hire.
• Active Florida RN license or compact license including FL.
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• BLS Certification mandatory.
• CPN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care for pediatric patients and families.
• Apply nursing process considering development, family dynamics, and cultural values.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage program or division activities and staff.
• Conduct meetings, training, and orientation for staff.
• Document all aspects of nursing care delivery and program activities.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
