Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in Ambulatory Pediatrics. The role emphasizes health promotion, education, and coordinated care across the continuum within a busy ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities include nursing assessment, patient education, and collaboration with the care team to ensure adherence to hospital policies and provider plans of care. BLS and MA RN licensure are required, with possible PALS certification depending on unit.

Qualifications

• RN must have MA licensure in good standing or be eligible for reciprocity.
• Current BLS certification; PALS may be required for some units.
• 1–3 years pediatric experience; ambulatory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Coordinate care for patients and families across care continuum.
• Educate patients and families on self-care and disease management.
• Support transitions of care and patient education resources.
