Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Pediatrics Clinic. Under the Nurse Manager, you will provide medical/nursing support in ambulatory settings, including phlebotomy and specimen handling as ordered, and assist with patient care and procedures.

The role involves routine vital signs, room setup, patient instruction, scheduling, and chart preparation to ensure efficient clinic operations. CMA preferred; strong teamwork in a busy environment is essential.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma and completion of a Medical Assistant Training program.
• CMA certification is preferred; relevant medical assisting credentials may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Assist at the point of care in an ambulatory setting under nurse supervision.
• Perform phlebotomy and prepare specimens for testing as ordered.
• Assist clinicians during procedures and exams; set up rooms and instruments.
• Obtain vital signs and document patient information accurately.
• Prepare records for clinic sessions and manage basic clerical duties.
