Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinicians to join a mixed virtual and in-person after-hours care team in the Charlotte market. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to provide high-quality pediatric care in a flexible model.

Must hold a Nurse Practitioner license in the state and have DEA eligibility with BLS; board certification in pediatric or acute care areas is a plus. The role offers comprehensive Total Rewards and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
• Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state.
• Eligible for prescriptive authority per Board rules.
• BLS certification required.
• ACNP/AGACNP/AGNP/PNP or PNP-AC board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing medical assessments and histories.
• Writes prescriptions and manages treatment plans.
• Orders and interprets labs and imaging as needed.
• Provides clinical care in a multi-site virtual/in-person model.
• Participates in team-based care and quality improvement.
