Job summary

Advocate Health seeks three Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinicians to join our Virtual Primary Care and Extended Care multisite practice. The APPs will care for patients virtually and in person from Shelby, NC, with flexibility for evenings/weekends and shifts on EC.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in pediatric primary care, hold NP licensure, and reside near the Charlotte area to support both VPC and EC services.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in pediatric primary care.
• Nurse Practitioner licensed and eligible to practice.
• Hybrid work model: virtual and in-person care.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and daily assessments.
• Writes prescriptions and administers medications; orders tests as needed.
• Documents encounters and treatment plans in patient records.
• Provide care across Virtual Primary Care and Extended Care platforms.
• Deliver in-person care during after-hours on EC schedule.
