Job summary

MUSC Children's Health in Charleston, SC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join the Pediatric Hematology & Oncology team, primarily in the Pediatric Sickle Cell Clinic and some Pediatric Hematology Clinic.

The APP will provide comprehensive patient care, follow established protocols, and collaborate with supervising physicians; SC licensure or eligibility required. 40-hour work week, day shift, inpatient/outpatient mix as specified.

Qualifications

• PA or NP licensure or eligibility required by SC laws.
• Experience with sickle cell or hematology patients preferred.
• Completion of an accredited PA or APRN program.

Responsibilities

• Provide health maintenance and disease prevention per age and risk factors.
• Manage patient care per protocols including visits, orders, notes, and care coordination.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and team; support quality improvement.
• Lead in patient-family communication and education.
