Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for daytime hours. The role supports physicians and APPs, with patient flow, vital signs, and procedures, while maintaining patient and family communication.

Qualifications

• Washington State MA-C certification required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow in collaboration with front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administer medications in compliance with WA DOH regulations and competency.
• Relay instructions to patients and families/caregivers.
• Send/receive patient records and facilitate patient referrals.
• Prepare forms for patients.
