Advocate Health Naperville location is seeking a part-time PRN administrative assistant for the Pediatrics: Therapy department. Responsibilities include front-desk duties, scheduling, patient intake, and basic billing support.

Hours vary; coverage as needed for the department with potential hours 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Pay range listed is $20.80–$31.20 per hour, with a per-diem, PRN schedule.

Qualifications

• 1 year of scheduling, customer service and clerical experience; EPIC experience preferred.
• Multi-tasking, routing calls, greeting patients, and maintaining appointment calendars.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word) and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors, collects co-payments, and answers routine information requests.
• Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel; coordinates related arrangements.
• Schedules patients and enters information into the system; coordinates with other departments/physician offices.
• Answers and screens telephone calls; triages clinical calls and resolves problems.
• Compiles and releases patient records, coordinates with Medical Records.
• Generates basic reports and distributes as needed.
• Opens, sorts, and distributes mail; operates office equipment; orders supplies.
• Completes referrals, tracks re-authorizations, processes registrations and information.
• May process billing/reimbursement forms and supports data gathering for reports.
