Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
• Manage front office duties: answering phones, checking mail, communicating with patients and insurance companies.
• Use dental software for patient scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims, follow up on outstanding claims, verify benefits, and explain coverage.
• Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.
