Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks a RN to provide direct patient care during dialysis procedures in a pediatric setting. The role supports the nephrology team, ensures safe hemodialysis, and delivers education to patients and families.

Licensure in Georgia or compact state is required, with BLS and PALS/PEARS within specified timeframes. Preferred candidates have BSN and/or CDN/CPN certifications and prior dialysis or neonatal/pediatric care experience.

Qualifications

• BSN with two years’ clinical experience (3000 hrs) or ADN with three years’ experience (4500 hrs).
• RN licensure in GA or compact state.
• Pediatric/Neonatal dialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs hemodialysis priming, emergency management, and bedside care under nephrologist.
• Schedules patient procedures and coordinates care with the team.
• Educates patients and families about care needs and plans.
• Documents patient data using approved tools and records.
• Delivers safe, effective, and financially responsible nursing care.
• Maintains equipment and supplies for dialysis procedures.
