Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Float Pool RN to provide competent nursing care across inpatient units, including surgical, medical, oncology, BMT, neuroscience, and psychiatry services. Orientation is ~12 weeks with Float Pool and Unit-Based preceptors.

Responsibilities include delivering family-centered care within a multidisciplinary team, cross-training in additional areas, and opportunities to precept new staff and nursing students. 50% day/night rotations required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Minimum 1 year inpatient acute care RN experience required.
• Pediatrics RN experience preferred.
• Massachusetts RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care to patients across inpatient units.
• Work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with opportunities for learning and career growth.
• Precept new staff and nursing students; participate in hospital committees as appropriate.
