Nemours is seeking a Director of Nursing, Acute Care to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE. The role provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for acute care services across Nemours Children's Health, Delaware Valley, with a focus on high-quality, safe, and family-centered care.

Collaborate with nursing, physician, operational, and interdisciplinary leaders to strengthen clinical operations, ensure regulatory readiness, and advance organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Master's of Science in Nursing required; certification in specialty and/or Nursing Leadership certification required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 10 years pediatric nursing experience; 5 years management & leadership experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for acute care services, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care across the continuum.
• Strengthens operational infrastructure to support current demands, future growth, workforce sustainability, patient throughput, and resource stewardship.
• Provides strategic and operational oversight for behavioral health care delivery and related programs to ensure safe, coordinated care for patients with behavioral health needs.
• Champions patient and family voice by incorporating feedback into care delivery, patient experience, quality improvement, and planning.
• Oversees quality, safety, regulatory compliance, workforce engagement, patient experience, operational performance, and financial stewardship.
• Establishes, monitors, and acts upon KPIs related to clinical outcomes, patient safety, operational efficiency, financial performance, productivity, and patient experience.
