Job summary

Nemours Children's Health - Jacksonville seeks a visionary nursing leader to oversee outpatient pediatric care. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure safe, family-centered care and professional development across nursing teams.

You will collaborate with the Chief Nurse Executive on planning and budgeting, promote evidence-based practice, and drive innovation and research in pediatric nursing. This role emphasizes mentorship and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

Proven ability to lead nursing teams toward safe, evidence-based, family-centered care
Strong collaboration with clinical leadership on budgeting and strategic planning
Experience with Shared Governance and professional development across outpatient settings

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and inspire nursing teams to ensure excellence in care and patient satisfaction
Oversee hiring, credentialing, evaluation, and professional development
Advance Shared Governance and engage nurses in evidence-based practice and decision-making
Collaborate on strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation with clinical leadership
Champion research, education, and affiliations in pediatric nursing
Represent nursing at community, state, and national levels and build partnerships
Ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement across outpatient services
