Job summary

The Monarch School and Institute is seeking a Behavioral Technician to provide clinical skills instruction and implement ABA-based behavior reduction protocols for children with autism and related developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings.

You will collect data on programs, assist with parent training, and support the behavior analyst, lead behavioral technician, and ABA interns with assessments as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician credential required.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Experience working with children or adolescents is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using ABA-based teaching.
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training regarding individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as instructed by the BCBA.
• Maintain a safe, confidential, and organized therapy environment.
