Premium Peanut, LLC is seeking a Shelling Technician at our Kentucky shelling plant to operate and maintain the equipment used to shell, separate, and clean peanuts. You will start up and shut down machinery, monitor flow through the sheller, gravity separator, and cleaner, and work with the top deck team to keep a steady production pace.

You will change sizing screens to meet customer specifications, follow GMPs and SOPs including LOTO, and ensure FSIS grade sheets and APSA grade requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and follow SOPs.

Responsabilités

• Start up and shut down the shelling equipment as needed.
• Monitor the flow of peanuts through the sheller, gravity separator, and cleaner.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a steady production pace.
• Report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Change sizing screens to meet customer specifications and ensure consistent quality.
• Operate the sheller, gravity separator, cleaner, and related equipment.
• Perform daily checks and sanitation on equipment.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, LOTO, and food safety responsibilities.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
