Job summary

ofi is seeking a Sheller Operator to manage daily shelling operations on-site at our peanut-processing facility. You will monitor and adjust equipment, perform start-up checks, and ensure compliance with GMPs and safety standards.

The role requires peanut-shelling experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and forklift certification; you will work closely with maintenance to keep equipment safe and productive. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in peanut shelling preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• On-site work at a facility processing peanuts; exposure to allergens.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust shelling equipment during the shift.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and equipment startup.
• Monitor equipment to maintain safe, efficient processing of peanuts.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure sanitary and safe operating conditions.
• Adhere to GMPs and safety rules, and perform other duties as assigned.
