Premium Peanut in Villa Rica, GA seeks a bagger operator to perform bagging of finished product peanuts. You will monitor bin levels, operate the bagger station, and ensure correct labeling and paperwork compliance at the line.
The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read instructions, and strict adherence to GMPs and food safety requirements. Frequent QA checks and collaboration with maintenance are essential.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of one year experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment, or one-year experience running complex farm equipment, one year of experience preferred and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be mechanically inclined; having the capability to change decks, screens and sizing reels not limited to any other function needed within the shelling process.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The shelling facility is not a climate-controlled environment.
This position is located in a peanut processing facility where constant exposure to peanut dust and particles is unavoidable. Due to the nature of the work environment, we may be unable to provide a reasonable accommodation for individuals with severe peanut allergies.
Additionally, this role requires working at elevated heights, including climbing ladders and platforms up to 60 feet. Individuals with a significant fear of heights or related conditions may find this aspect of the job challenging.
