Job summary

ofi is seeking a Peanut Roaster Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe roasting area on site at our Edenton facility. The role emphasizes sanitation, equipment cleaning, and supporting the roasting team to ensure product quality and compliance with food safety standards.

You will perform weekly cleaning, handle caustic chemicals, operate control panels, and work weekends on 12-hour shifts. The position requires physical dexterity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to GMP and OSHA

Qualifications

• Follows GMP guidelines, OSHA safety standards, and health codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of Roaster and surrounding area.
• Perform weekly cleaning and sanitation of roasting equipment and facilities.
• Handle caustic chemicals and operate basic control panels.
• Wear respirator and comply with PPE requirements.
• Support roasting team to ensure product quality and food safety.
