Job summary

SC Works Online Services in Santee, SC, seeks a Sanitation Technician to maintain clean production areas and support the production schedule. Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, on-site in a peanut processing facility.

You will follow GMP, assist with other duties, and demonstrate problem solving, teamwork, and reliability. Requires a high school diploma or GED, and 6 months of manufacturing equipment experience or equivalent; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment, or one year experience running complex farm equipment; three years preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined; ability to change decks, screens and sizing reels as needed within the shelling process.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, hygienic production environment.
• Follows GMP and supports production to stay on schedule.
• Operates and maintains equipment setup and housekeeping tasks.
• Performs cleaning of machines, conveyors, and work areas as described.
• Transports trash and maintains plant grounds.
• Demonstrates safety, reliability, and teamwork in daily duties.
