Job summary

University of Oklahoma is seeking staff to open the Forum building and manage event support, including setting up rooms, catering items, cleaning, and basic AV tech assistance. The role emphasizes customer service and safety within events.

• Monitor safety and maintenance needs within the building.
• Other related duties as assigned

Pay Range

Targeted salary $11.55 - 12.00 per hour, based on experience

Work Schedule

Wednesday – Sunday, evenings (5:00pm - up to 11:00pm), 25-35 hours per week

Position Introduction

• Checking room setups and client needs before and during events.
• Make beverages and put out supplies and catering items.
• Clean and restock serving supplies.
• Provide customer service to clients, including troubleshooting AV equipment issues, completing any last-minute client requests.
• Tech support for audio visual equipment as needed by clients.
• Cleaning, sweeping, mopping back room and spills, and taking out trash/boxes after events.
• Monitoring safety and maintenance needs within the building.
• Other related duties as assigned

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date
• Food handler’s permit must be acquired within 5 days of employment.
