Job summary

University of Arizona is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Peace Corps Coverdell Fellows Program in Tucson. You will coordinate, administer, and develop the program, lead recruitment, financial assistance, and placement of graduate students in community-based roles across Tucson with nonprofit and for-profit partners.

You will work within the Graduate College Graduate Center to support graduate student services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Preferred experience with Peace Corps program or nonprofit sector is a plus.
• Experience developing and managing volunteer/internship programs and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with on-campus and community partners including Peace Corps Prep and Recruiter’s Office and Graduate Center staff.
• Develop and manage the Coverdell Program application process and internships/assistantships with Tucson partners.
• Coordinate application review committees with faculty, staff, students and community members.
• Manage outreach, events, and communication materials for the program and Fellows.
• Supervise Graduate Assistants and coordinate service projects and Fellows events.
• Provide responsive student support and maintain strong relationships with Fellows and partners.
