The Physical Education Teacher at Great Hearts Invictus Upper School in Helotes, TX will lead engaging classes, using the Great Hearts curriculum to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and character development.

Collaborate with colleagues and families to monitor student progress, maintain a safe classroom, and contribute to a culture of excellence in teaching and learning at our campus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or higher degree is required for a lead teaching role
• Certification is not required for general education
• All majors are welcome

Responsabilidades

• Teach assigned classes using the Great Hearts curriculum and materials, preparing thoughtful lessons and cultivating an orderly, joyful classroom that supports the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty.
• Provide appropriate academic support to students, monitor progress, and partner with school leadership to address academic or behavioral needs in a timely manner.
• Uphold and model the culture, policies, and expectations of Great Hearts, including dress code, conduct, and safety procedures, contributing to a respectful and orderly school environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families, initiating conferences as needed and fostering strong home-school partnerships.
• Participate fully in the life of the academy through faculty collaboration, school events, assigned duties, and a shared commitment to ongoing professional growth and excellence in teaching.
