Job summary

RESPEC is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer (PE) to join our engineering team in locations including Denver, CO and other cities. You will work on a range of projects from hospitals to high-profile commercial buildings across the nation, collaborating with architects and engineers to deliver compliant, well-detailed structural designs.

The role requires a PE, strong knowledge of codes, and experience with steel, wood, concrete, and precast concrete.

Qualifications

• MS in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis
• Professional Engineering registration required
• Experience in steel, wood, concrete, and precast/prestressed concrete design
• Self-motivated, energetic and able to take on new tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team

Responsibilities

• Interpret building codes and standards and prepare structural plans and details
• Conduct construction observations for structural projects
• Collaborate with architects and civil, mechanical, electrical engineers across offices
• Support new construction, investigations and renovations/rehabilitations
