RESPEC is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer (PE) to join our team in multiple locations, including Denver, Rapid City, Brookings, Sioux Falls, Morgantown, and Charlestown. The engineer will support new construction, investigations, and renovations, applying codes and preparing plans with architects and other engineers.

Ideal candidates will have an MS in Civil/Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis) and a PE license, 8–10+ years of experience, and proficiency in RISA/STAAD/SAP.

Qualifications

• MS in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Professional Engineering registration.
• Experience in steel, wood, concrete, and precast/prestressed concrete design.
• Knowledge of construction practices and methods.
• Minimum 8-10+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• RISA, STAAD, SAP, or similar Structural Analysis Software experience.
• Experience with preparing plans, specifications, and design calculations.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and able to take on new tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
